Our 100th Anniversary celebration kicked off with a combined Homecoming Worship held in the outdoor pavilion of our parent church, Bethlehem Lutheran Church on Plank Rd. in Penfield.The service was led Pastor Korey Finstad of BLC/Penfield along with our own co-pastors, Pastor Amy Walter-Peterson and Pastor Abigail Hoffman.The pastors highlighted the special relationship that the two congregations have shared.It should be noted that Pastor Korey was an assistant pastor at BLC Fairport from 2005 -2012, when he relocated to Christ the King Lutheran Church in Denver CO.He and his family returned to the area in 2020.We were delighted for the opportunity to welcome them back.Worship was followed by a reception allowing time for the two congregations mix and mingle.
