A special thanks to Bishop John Macholz who presided at last Sunday’s worship service as we kicked off our 100th Anniversary celebration here at Bethlehem. Following worship, the Bishop and Lin joined us for a reception outside where everyone had an opportunity to wish them both well in their upcoming retirements. The Bishop said Bethlehem will always have a special place in his heart and in his family’s heart.

One of the gifts Pastor Amy presented to the Bishop were prayer squares made by people in our congregation along with a 100th Anniversary Throw. Pastor Amy expressed the hope that these prayer squares be a constant reminder that the Bishop and Lin are in our presence and prayers.
