On June 12, we welcomed Rev. Julie Bergdahl, our Associate Pastor from 1991-1994, who reminded us that she was our first female Associate Pastor. Pastor Bergdahl, or “PB” as she is affectionately called, thanked us for the many gifts and opportunities to learn that she experienced first-hand at Bethlehem, many of which she has taken to other churches where she has served. She brought with her several mementos from her time at BLC which she still uses and treasures even now.  Her children’s sermon introduced us to Ms. Pew Potato, who uses her entire body to share God’s love – arms to help, eyes to see, ears to listen, and legs to take her to those in need.  She reminded us that the Holy Spirit activates the good in all of us and will continue to guide us forward as it has in the past 100 years.
