Thanks to all who signed up to be Hunger Activists through the week of May 16!

Be sure to check out the monthly calendars for recipes, prayers and activities!

You can be a Hunger Activist anytime. Pick up extras when you grocery shop and deliver the items to the mini-food pantry by the maintenance shed in the Pines of Perinton. A box or two of cereal or some peanut butter will make someone’s day! If you are lucky, you will have a chance to engage in conversation about favorite foods with people “shopping” there.

The Mission & Social Concerns (M&SC) committee is committed to thinking outside the box when it comes to food insecurity. If you have ideas, please contact Beth Walker rbowsend@rochester.rr.com or Julie Owen, M&SC chair.
