BLC has a long tradition of fellowship over a Simple Suppers of soup and bread on Wednesday evenings during Lent. All are welcome to participate! You are welcome to attend Simple Suppers even if you do not plan to stay for the Holden Evening Prayer service that follows.

Please sign up here if you are willing to prepare soup/stew/chili or bring bread/rolls to accompany the meal, or if you are able to help host or help with clean up.

Sunday, April 6th 10:30am – 4pm LYO Room Spruce-Up: Hey high school youth! Be a part of the LYO Room Spruce -Up. Wear clothes that you can paint in and come help brighten up the LYO room. We will paint the accent wall, move some furniture, maybe paint some furniture, clean, and generally make the room inviting again.  If you are an adult willing to help, we’d love your participation too. Adults and youth: please let Patty know if you are planning to come. We will have donuts, lemonade and lunch together — join us!

Hang out with Pastor Amy at 20 Deep Winery in Mendon from 2-4pm. This is a family-friendly winery with a mix of indoor and outdoor space and a mix of wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages available!

Tuesdays from 11am-12:30pm… Pastor Hoffman will facilitate this time of sharing and conversation open to those who have experienced loss. There is no specific agenda other than connecting with others who are walking a similar road. The group will gather bi-weekly and you are welcome to come as often as is helpful to you. Questions? If you are caregiving for a loved one (elderly parent, spouse, relative or anyone dear to you), feel free to join us! We meet biweekly on Tuesdays from 2 – 3:30 pm. The participants share with and learn from each other; this is not a lecture or class!  Questions? Contact Pastor Hoffman.

On the 2nd Sunday of every month, BLC serves meals to approximately 70 elderly and needy individuals and families in our Fairport community. Other local churches provide meals on the remaining Sundays. It takes a dedicated team of many volunteers each month to prepare, package, deliver meals, and clean up. Opportunities to serve include: Meal prep, packaging, delivery and clean-up. Contact the church office to be connected with the coordinators to volunteer in this ministry!

Enjoy a delicious stack of pancakes between the two worship services on Easter morning. Breakfast will be served in the Fellowship Hall from 9:45- 10:45am. This year’s breakfast will be a fundraiser for the LYO- suggested donation is $5/ adult or $20/family.
