High school students are encouraged to join, as are those who cannot make a full year commitment, but who can attend for shorter periods of time. The choir will sing at the 8:55 am service. This Sunday, we will be blessing the quilts made by the BLC quilting group over this past year before they are sent out to those in need. Worship in-person or virtually

This Sunday, we will be blessing the quilts made by the BLC quilting group over this past year before they are sent out to those in need.

While we hear Scripture and sermon in worship, kids (ages 3 through elementary) are invited to a special time of hearing the Word just for them! They will gather in the room next to Pastor Hoffman’s office where they will hear a Bible story (usually from the Spark Story Bible), maybe watch a short video introducing the theme or message or sometimes do an activity, talk about the story and pray together. Then they’ll return to the sanctuary before we begin communion. We hope this allows the youngest saints to both participate fully in worship (the gathering time and the meal) while also hearing God’s Word in a developmentally-appropriate way.
Following worship, join us for Fellowship in the Narthex!

On the 2nd Sunday of every month, BLC serves meals to elderly and needy individuals and families in our Fairport community. Other local churches provide meals on the remaining Sundays. It takes a dedicated team of 20-30 volunteers each month to prepare, package, deliver meals, and clean up. Opportunities to serve include: Meal prep, packaging, delivery and clean-up. Contact the church office to be connected with the coordinators to volunteer in this ministry!

Please join us after worship on May 5 and May 19 for two seminars designed to assist us in making important decisions as we age.
- The May 5 seminar starts at 10:15 AM and will focus on decisions concerning Physical Care and Spiritual Planning.
- The May 19 seminar starts at 11:00 AM and will focus on Financial and Philanthropic Planning.
The types of decisions we will cover in these sessions can be considered gifts to ourselves as well as to our children and caregivers. We strongly encourage you to invite your adult children. These sessions will be held in the sanctuary as well as online via Zoom.
