We will be celebrating our high school seniors during worship on Sunday, June 1st, followed by a brief reception in their honor. If you have a graduating high school senior and have not received an email from Patty (faithformation@blcfairport.org), please reach out so that we can make plans to include your senior in our recognition.

The Sanctuary Refresh Team will be holding a series of cottage meetings to show the congregation the plans the team has developed and to help them discern how successfully the plans meet the stated goals and objectives. The meetings will be held:

Tuesday, June 3, 6:30 pm – Hybrid Conference Room w/Zoom

Thursday, June 5, 11 am – Hybrid Conference Room w/Zoom

Tuesdays from 11am-12:30pm… Pastor Hoffman will facilitate this time of sharing and conversation open to those who have experienced loss. There is no specific agenda other than connecting with others who are walking a similar road. The group will gather bi-weekly and you are welcome to come as often as is helpful to you. Questions? If you are caregiving for a loved one (elderly parent, spouse, relative or anyone dear to you), feel free to join us! We meet biweekly on Tuesdays from 2 – 3:30 pm. The participants share with and learn from each other; this is not a lecture or class!  Questions? Contact Pastor Hoffman.

Lift up your voice and sing! We invite anyone who enjoys singing to participate! High school students and up, male and female voices, are most welcome! Rehearsals are weekly on Wednesdays, 7:30-9pm in the choir room, and the choir shares an anthem almost every Sunday worship September through May. Calling all families! Please join us for a cookout at the Sauer family farm in Marion, NY on Friday, June 20th starting at 5:30pm. Hot dogs, drinks and paper products will be provided. Please bring a side or a dessert to share and camp chairs for your family. Stay for the long twilight evening with other BLC folks to enjoy a campfire as the fireflies come out. Watch for a sign-up later in June.

Do you know a young person who would like to serve in a worship leadership role? There are opportunities for Acolytes, Lectors, and Communion Assistants! A special training for Acolytes will take place on Sunday, June 22nd, after service from 10:15 to 11:00, in the sanctuary.
