GROW IN FAITH AND DISCIPLESHIP
We cultivate multiple ways to learn about and deepen faith for people of all ages and life stages, as well as those with varied faith experiences.
Opportunities to get involved include: Adult Education, Children’s Christmas Program, Confirmation Program, Kingdom Kids, Library, Mid-Week Study Group, Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, Welcome to the Table

We develop multiple points of connection between faith and daily life that extends beyond worship.

CARE FOR ONE ANOTHER
We build and foster intergenerational relationships within the BLC family to cultivate a faith community in which each person is valued as a fellow child of God.
Opportunities to get involved include: Barnabas Ministries (Christmas Baskets, Funeral Receptions, Grief Mailings, Homebound Member Visitors, Notes of Encouragement), Breadbreakers/Simply Social, Cradle Roll, Eucharistic Ministers, Fellowship (Coffee Hour, Picnics), Greeters, Ministry of Yarn (Baptismal Blankets, Prayer Shawls, etc), Prayer Listing (monthly)
SERVE OUR NEIGHBOR
We reach out to the world for the purpose of serving our neighbors near and far, especially those who are marginalized and easily forgotten.
Opportunities to get involved include: 2nd Sunday Dinner Ministry, Angel Tree, Mission Partners (Advent House, Grace House, Learning Links, Lutheran Disaster Relief in Puerto Rico, Open Door Mission: Coldwater House, PEM-EMP, Perinton Food Shelf, RESOLVE, Shurugwi, Zimbabwe Parish, and more), Quilting Group, South Wedge Mission, Thinks-giving, Upstate New York Synod Mission Support
