Conversation with Father Michael Calabria, Hosted by Pastor Amy Walter-Peterson

Growing in Faith . . . In February, we will have an opportunity to visit, along with our confirmation class, a local mosque, as we learn about what we share with other religions and what is uniquely Christian. In preparation for this, we are offering an opportunity for all ages to learn something about this ourselves! 

On January 16, at 7pm, join congregations around the conference for a Zoom conversation with Fr. Michael Calabria, hosted by Pastor Amy. Fr. Michael teaches courses in Arabic and Islamic Studies at St. Bonaventure University, Olean, NY and has spent over 30 years traveling extensively in the Islamic world. He has visited and conducted research in Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Oman, Turkey and India. He speaks widely on various aspects of Islam and Islamic culture including the Qur’an, Islamic spirituality, art and architecture, and Christian-Muslim relations.
