*Worship on the Longest Night

Dec 05, 2014

Every year, we gather on or near the Longest Night of the year to acknowledge the darkness that envelops our lives – loss of loved ones, illness, and other grieves that weigh heavy on our hearts – and to give thanks for the coming light of Christ, the light no darkness can overcome.  Join us on Sunday, December 21 for this year’s Longest Night Worship.  The sanctuary will be open beginning at 6:30 P.M. for a time of silent prayer.  We will hold a short worship of responsive readings, familiar hymns, and Holy Communion beginning at 7:00 P.M. followed by refreshments and conversation for those who wish to stay.
