*Staff Transition Planning UpdateJun 11, 2016
The Staff Transition Planning (STP) Team has been hard at work since the last update and we wanted to let you know what’s been happening. Thank you to those who participated in our first workshop in late May! The assembled group evaluated the duties from the existing job descriptions, discussing whether they should be accomplished by volunteers or by paid staff. Utilizing that information, the team has started to ideate some staffing scenarios which could meet BLC’s needs. The STP plans to invite participation from the congregation again in the near future and will announce the date in the STAR.
The STP is also accepting nominations for the Search and Call (SAC) Committee which will be charged with recruiting candidates for the emerging organization.
