Longest Night Worship- December 20Nov 24, 2019
Each year, we gather on or near the Longest Night of the year to acknowledge the darkness that envelops our lives – loss of loved ones, illness, and other griefs that weigh heavy on our hearts – and to give thanks for the coming light of Christ, the light no darkness can overcome. Our service this year will be on Friday, December 20. The sanctuary will be open at 6:30 pm for a time of silent prayer. We will hold a short worship of responsive readings, familiar hymns, and Holy Communion beginning at 7 pm. Refreshments will follow.
