BLC Hosts Virtual Holy Yoga!
Holy Yoga embraces the essential elements of yoga: breath work, meditation, and physical postures, all of which have benefits for our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. In all of these elements, Christ is the focus of our intention and worship. Have you ever wondered about doing Holy Yoga? These uncertain times have allowed for a unique participation option for you to experience a class with Jennifer Edwards! The sessions are broken into 15 to 20 minutes sections due to some technology challenges. We know that it’s an inconvenience to have to click on another video, but this is the best available option right now. So, the silver lining is that you can mix which warm-ups, arm strengthening, leg strengthening, core, cool-down and closings you want. It’s a-la-carte! You can go to Jennifer Edwards’ YouTube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCBne9Q_XCW4ueM11Jjd6shw/
You can also do a search for Jennifer Edwards Yoga on YouTube and she should come up on the first page. If you subscribe to her channel and turn your Notifications on (in settings), you can get a notice in your inbox when a new class has been uploaded. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to Jen Edwards, Certified HY therapist and Master Instructor at firstname.lastname@example.org
Knit Night Update
Although we won’t be gathering March 26 in the sitting room for Knit Night, we hope you will all join us by knitting/crocheting that evening in your home. The need for our lovingly crafted items will be greater than ever and your efforts are very much appreciated. We will be meeting in person again whenever it’s appropriate, but in the meantime, please continue working on your projects, whether they be prayer shawls, baptismal blankets, Peace Pals, or blanket squares. Please reach out to Glenda L. or Ruth S. if you have any questions.
