Finance Committee News

BLC’s newly established Finance Committee has been created to review the church’s financial activities and make recommendations to the Council regarding the financial activities of the church. This includes:

–>Clarifying and updating existing financial functions

–>Drafting policies and procedures for handling all monetary transactions (income and expenses)

–>Assuring that there is a separation of responsibilities for collecting money and making disbursements

–>Reporting monthly to the congregation on the year-to-date receipts and expense compared to the spending plan in the STAR

We will be providing updates to the congregation about the progress of our work at the Quarterly Forums and in the STAR. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Andy G. or Treasurer Alan S.
