Ethiopian Luncheon

Sep 22, 2018

Welcome to all who are sharing in our Ethiopian Luncheon on Sunday, September 23 to benefit the Wazigua Community Center in Rochester.  This project is made possible through Thrivent Financial’s Action Team at Bethlehem and with a donation from Wegmans.  Contributions for the good work of the Wazigua Community Center are being collected in the BLC narthex through September 23.  The Wazigua Community Center perpetuates the culture of the Wazigua.  The center is co-led by Osman, one of the sons of the family that BLC resettled and Abdikadir, a son from the family that the United Methodist Church resettled!

The following items are being collected:

–>sturdy paper dinner plates and paper cups

–>paper towels

–>toilet paper

–>strong garbage bags

–>liquid hand soap

–>dish soap

–>gift cards for juice boxes and water from Wegmans, Target, or Walmart
